CABAA/ FlightSafety Professional Training Award

Award Details:

 

CABAA and FlightSafety will award one 2010 senior with advanced training to enhance the individual’s progress toward a career in business aviation. This year, the award will be a Citation II SIC pilot training Course to be fulfilled at FlightSafety’s training center in Toledo, Ohio. This course is 12 days in length and includes; 36 hours ground school, 2.0 hours system Integration Training, 9 hours briefing/ Debriefing, 22 hours of simulator time (as a Crew). With Completion of this course the pilot will obtain skills to operate the Citation II, integrate the theory delivered in the ground school, and apply these skills to the operation of a Citation II aircraft. The retail value of this award is $17,600. The winner will be notified by phone and presented the award at the annual CABAA Golf Classic on August 19th, 2010. Recipient presence is required at the time of award presentation at the CABAA Golf Classic.

 

CABAA and FlightSafety have teamed up to offer this award to promote professional development for a career in business aviation. This award was established to encourage others to reach the highest level of achievement in their aviation studies and career preparation. It is bestowed upon one who demonstrates a commitment and devotion to aviation. The scholarship committee is actively promoting Business Aviation as a viable, interesting, and rewarding career on the campuses where our future job candidates are being trained. 

Recipient of this award is responsible for his or her own transportation to and from FlightSafety, hotel accommodations, and meals while at FlightSafety. This award is to be used within one calendar year of when it is presented. This award can not be upgraded to a PIC type rating. This award is non- transferable and may only be used by the Award recipient.
