Dear Colleagues,
I would like to invite you to participate in Chicago Public Schools' Groundhog Job Shadow Day 2010, on Tuesday, February 9th. CPS serves thousands of students and the more students we can impact for Aviation, the better. The Aviation Academic Initiative and CPS are really excited about providing students who are earnestly pursuing education in specific career areas and have indicated an interest in careers in aviation, an opportunity to have some in-depth career exploration that may help guide them toward being our future labor force in Chicago’s Aviation Industry. We are looking to provide students with Job Shadow opportunities in areas such as: Business and Finance, Transportation, Pre-Engineering (or any other applicable career path*).
If you are interested in hosting Chicago Public School Students at your place of business, please email us the following information by Friday December 5th. Also important, feel free to forward this email within your company as well as to other industry colleagues in the Chicago area.
