Beyond the iPad:  The future of the EFB

Jeppesen will host a session about the rapid pace of change in EFB solutions over the past couple of years and how that has presented new opportunities for flight departments to transition to a paperless cockpit.  Jeppesen will offer insights into lessons learned from early adopters of this technology, hardware and software issues, and insights into the unique mobile ecosystem from an aviation context.  Jeppesen will also share its view of the future of this technology as part of a broader integrated operations system.

What is the CABAA Annual Safety Stand-down?

Promoting aviation safety is a core value of the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association. Each year, CABAA invites the industries most dynamic and insightful speakers to cover topics designed to continuously improve Business Aviation’s stellar safety record.

Who should attend?

Anyone with an interest in Aviation Safety! This includes Pilots of all levels, Department Mangers, Aircraft Mechanics, Schedulers & Dispatchers, as well as all other industry partners. Due to the importance of the subject, this program is open to the public. Non-CABAA members are welcome!

Why Attend?

Aviation safety is not just for pilots, everyone plays a role. This year the CABAA has teamed up with the NBAA and FAA to further expand our offer. Everyone that attends the 2011 CABAA Safety Stand-down will be eligible for credit for the following programs:

NBAA Certified Aviation Manager Program: Participants in the 2011 CABAA Safety Stand-Down will be eligible to gain one (1) credit point towards completion or recertification for the NBAA Certified Aviation Managers (CAM) Program.


FAA Wings Program: Earn two (2) MASTER Wings points, and one (1) credit for the Aviation Maintenance Tech Program for participating in the 2011 CABAA Safety Stand-Down.
