As part of CABAA’s continuous support and development of the Chicago Area Business Aviation community, every year we host the Golf Classic. Proceeds from the event go towards our aviation scholarship program; it is through this event that we have been able to fund 21 scholarships in the amount of $46,000, in school programs as well as the purchase and donation of a Portable Flight Simulator to help train high school students who aspire to be pilots.
CABAA has given high priority to supporting these education programs. The future success of business aviation depends on the quality of the people who enter our industry; it is therefore critical that we attract the best and the brightest. Our goal is the make each young aviation enthusiast aware of all the opportunities business aviation has to offer, how rewarding a career it can be, and to secure the continuous growth of our industry.
In addition to the CABAA Golf Classic raising money for our scholarship program, it brings together different members of the business aviation community, flight departments, manufactures, policy makers, airport communities and service providers, in a venue that allows an open exchange of information,ideas and opportunities within our industry.
